Bridge

Bridge will allow you to get over gaps that divers from 1 square width to 4 square width.

For wider gaps you will need to combine bridges with platforms and terrain upgrades.

In comparision to the platforms, a bridge doesn't need support from the bottom, but you can't build anything on them.

And both ends of the bridge have to be placed on terrain or some other solid structure with the same height.
