Rather than storage this is just a place that you mark on the ground and characters will store the resources there.
It is handy because characters will put there all the resources they harvest or dig which is the key to start organizing resources and the whole workflow.
Belts can't insert any items into it only characters can bring them or take away from there.
Later, when you have Planks, you can start building more advanced storages such as a Wooden Storage or Automated Storage
You can set filter for which objects are accepted in the storage.
There can be stored only one type of objects.
You can change the filter at any time.
